from the Greek "taxis ", order and nomos: law. The
Taxinomie is the theoretical study of the classification, its
bases, its principles, the methods and the rules. According
to its origin, the concept of "taxinomie" is only
interested in the biological classification (the concept "taxinomie
"was created by A. P. de Candolle in his elementary theory
of the botany of 1813).
François Yordamian breaks through order. He takes apart
objects of the everyday life like furnitures such as tables,
chairs and stools, but also natural elements like trees and
stones. He saws to the length and to the width, only pieces
remain. Yordamian puts back these pieces into their original
condition, however, he forces them into a new representation
form. They now become united again through glass, or glass vessels,
new sculptures originate, bizarre, beautiful, solidified in
the eternal glass. Yordamian showed these sculptures 1987 in
the public area in Paris for the first time.

vom griechischen "Taxis" (Ordnung und Nomos: Gesetz).
Die Taxinomie ist die theoretische Studie von der Klassifikation,
ihren Grundlagen, ihren Prinzipien, den Methoden und den Regeln.
Seiner Herkunft nach interessiert sich der Begriff "taxinomie"
nur an der biologischen Klassifikation (der Begriff "Taxinomie"
wurde von A. P. de Candolle in seiner elementaren Theorie der
Botanik von 1813 geschaffen).
François Yordamian durchbricht Ordnung. Er zersägt
Gebrauchsgegenstände des Alltags wie Möbel, Tische,
Stühle und Hocker, aber auch natürliche Elemente wie
Bäume und Steine. Er sägt der Länge und der Breite
nach, es bleiben nur Stücke übrig. Yordamian aber
setzt diese zersägten Stücke wieder in ihren Originalzustand
zurück, jedoch zwingt er die zersägte Materie zu einer
neuen Darstellungsform. Sie werden nun wieder vereint durch
Glas, oder Glasgefässe, es entstehen neue Skulpturen, bizarr
schön, erstarrt im ewigen Glas. Yordamian zeigte diese
Skulpturen erstmals 1987 im öffentlichen Raum in Paris.
